The SOS game is a classic strategy puzzle traditionally played with pen and paper. Now modernized as SOS Mania, it remains one of the most engaging brain teasers for two or more players.
The goal is to create the most "SOS" sequences on the grid. Sequences can be formed horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
While Traditionally played on a 3x3 or 4x4 grid, SOS Mania uses an expanded 9x9 grid to allow for more complex strategic maneuvers and longer-lasting battles.
The game ends when the entire grid is filled. The player with the highest total score of SOS sequences is declared the winner.
Unlike Tic-Tac-Toe, SOS requires both offensive and defensive thinking. You must balance trying to score while ensuring you don't accidentally set up an "SOS" for your opponent!
